It’s so strange being here. I keep thinking of all these things like I’m still back in my own time. Like this morning, I wanted to go to the village market and pick up fresh eggs for an omelet. Then the gloomy part of my mind that still hasn’t quite caught up to this millennium tells me to get the small container since I’m all alone. Then I get this overwhelming, indescribable, incandescent surge of joy remembering that my family is here with me. Then I remember that some people don’t like eggs at all so perhaps I should get sausage and tomatoes instead. Then it occurs to me that this entire train of thought is entirely moot because we don’t even live in Godric’s Hollow now. And come to that, I don’t even know if the market is still there. So I write myself off as being incredibly silly and just have some cereal. Whew! All this before breakfast! Is anybody else having trouble with this temporal adjustment?

Well, first I want to say that I’m very happy to finally have my brother here.
Now that I got that out of the way… Oi! Ron! My cooking’s brilliant. It’s really not wise to insult my cooking in Harry’s journal considering I’m likely to read it as he's my husband and all. If you don’t want 'mystery of the week' that’s fine…
Hmm… what was the recipe for Stroganoff Surprise again?
